British hops are very different to your standard German or American hops due to the unfortunate fact that we don't get nearly as much sunlight! This means are British IPA has it's own unique grapefruit flavour. It tends to go down well with classic American style IPA drinkers who enjoy the intense bitterness, but also suprisingly well with non-IPA drinkers as it lacks the distinct strong nasal and floral impression that isn't to everyone's taste.
Initially designed to as a bit of a tongue and cheek middle finger to BrewDog (who had cheekily released an Isle of Arran themed beer at the time),the design of the Brewery Dug IPA features our world Famous Brewery Dug - Helga, who helped run the operations at Arran Brewery for 11 years!
